Finding love
Here I am
Do you see me?
I see me.
God sees me.
Jesus every once in a while pops in with love.
Deep love.
Oh how I found it in me
Even among all the noise.
I stare at the trees
I look at the leaves
Will they tell me who’s the Dream lover?
His face, I can’t see.
Yet, his presence feels familiar.
His presence feels safe.
I feel heard, yet unaware if he hears me.
So here I am.
Swimming in love.
Swimming in my life adored —
Abundantly re-assured —- the beauty of life glows even more.
My femininity longs to be soft— in all aspects of my life.
Patiently I wait.
Love, a joy alone—- a masterpiece together. Here I am

I recently read All About Love. Bell Hooks captivates so many mysteries about love in this book. As a writer looking for a good read — I was so inspired to be fully seen on the page. “We are not born knowing how to love anyone, either ourselves or somebody else” and yet— “one of the best guides to how to be self-loving is to give ourselves the love we are often dreaming about receiving from others” — I will dare to see — The dream lover is me.
Let’s find love within ourselves. I grow— I am overflowing.
The journey continues.
